Dear community,
You, the vibrant heart of our community, have made it truly incredible to connect with so many inspiring individuals. And this needs to be celebrated!
While the festival may not proceed as planned, we have an amazing alternative in store for you: the Grounded Summer Camp! A multi-day experience with camping and programme around food, diverse music, and impactful workshops on: regenerative economy, resilient regions, new governance, and practical down and dirty activities.
Our campsite will be at the beautiful Lutkemeer Polder, a place where we will raise our voices in support of the soil. This precious land is the last fertile ground left in the municipality of Amsterdam, and there are plans to build huge distribution centers on it. On Saturday, we aim to make a powerful collective statement with music, legendary speakers, and perhaps even a touch of guerilla gardening. Together, let's create an environment that welcomes protected species back to the land they call home.
The area is already home to a diverse range of Community Supported Agriculture initiatives. They have generously invited us to camp there because they believe it will help showcase the importance of reclaiming our land. Moreover, it will demonstrate that young people are actively standing up for this cause in a positive, constructive, and inclusive manner.
Ticket Info
The costs of the tickets is solely to cover our expenses for the event. If you can not afford a ticket, but would still like to join, please reach out to info@grounded-community.org and we will find a solution for you.
Participation & Volunteering
This is a participatory event! Therefore we invite all of you crazy souls to participate in creating a truly wholesome experience for everyone. Bring your instruments, hoola-hoops, dj-sets, or tasty meals to share with the rest. If you would like to help out in one of our shifts, please send us a quick message on the participation form and we will be in touch with you shortly.
Shuttle Bus
We are organizing a bus shuttle from Utrecht to the Summercamp with departure times on Thursday 12:00 and Friday 16:00 afternoon to Amsterdam and back on Sunday 14:00 to Utrecht. You can now book your shuttle ticket here. Please be aware that in case we can not fill up the buses due to too few signups we will have to cancel them and you will get a refund of your bus ticket.
Departure and meeting point for the shuttle bus will be on Fort Lunet 1
Food & Drinks
Several organizations and guerilla kitchens will provide food and drinks on donation base. We are super thankful for this and would like to therefore ask you not to shy away to spend a coin or two for their efforts. Besides that, you are welcome to bring your own drinks and food to the camp.
