Ma'rifa

On the dancefloor with Ma'rifa, colours and tastes come together in a caleidoscope of sounds from the SWANA region. He grew up in the Netherlands within a Turkish-Arab family, where he would rather play his self-made mix CD's than his fathers Turkish & Arabic cassette tapes. Now he grew to embrace his cultural heritage and can find himself well in the current culture of edits of Arabic disco classics, which he effortlessly blends with raw rave and fresh electronica.
