Relational Accountability

Katja and Niki have been co-hosts of the Young Innovators program at Utrecht University, striving to create a space for non-formal education that welcomes the head, heart, and hands through the embodied engagement in social innovation and community-engaged learning. They have embarked on the journey of exploring decolonial practices in education, and are hosting a workshop using a framework from the ‘Gesturing towards Decolonial Futures’ collective. How do you usually respond when your worldviews and/or self-image(s) are challenged? How do you respond when you are asked to face your complicity in systemic social and ecological harm? What do these responses signal about your own internal complexity, attachments and emotional maturity? If such questions resonate with you, join us in our workshop on ‘Relational Accountability’.
