Lino Workshop

In this lino workshop, Sophia and Elfi will teach you how to make your own hand printed clothing! We will start with a discussion about spring and cross pollination and inspired by this, create designs that we will then carve out of lino blocks. The meditative process of carving will give us some time to reflect and get to know each other. Thinking about how to transfer your design to print also will give you a new way of thinking about your ideas, by deciding which parts to carve away and which parts should remain. We will learn how to print our designs either onto paper or clothes from the clothing swap, transforming old clothes into new and cross pollinated wearable pieces of art!
