Cat Elfrink

Cat Elfrink is an artist who makes primarily sculptural works. Most of their work is focused on process and experiment, exploring shapes, color, textures and interaction of these shapes. The artist uses a method that is centered around intuition and feeling. Not only in mind but also through muscle and nerve. Sensitivity has always been a big role in Cat’s life which they try to communicate through their work. With this current exhibition Cat presents a long running series of sculptures in which they were able to explore fragility, freedom and acceptance as a means to form a deeper connection with their process. A few of these works build on this same principle taking it into a different direction.
