Spring Celebration at Koningshof
he sun in shining and we're gearing up for the Spring celebration at Koningshof on the 18th of may, organized in collaboration with Koningshof, BUI, and Ludens and 5TIG! We are combining our powers to work on a green, healthy, Lunettenpark with lots of fun and that includes everyone!
For the spring celebration Grounded will be adding to the programme with:
A session on Vital People in a Lively Park: Join us for an interactive series of talks diving deep into the relationship between our environment and our health. Featuring experts like Park Maker Martine Sluijs and social pioneer Mark Verhoef, we'll explore soil, gut, and experience. Then, let's brainstorm ideas for a Vital Lunettenpark guided by Tilly Maclean and Nanine Koolstra from Bureau Coup. Finally, let's get hands-on with a wild foraging walk led by Pieter Post. Hosted by Grounded's Maarten Klop, who's dedicated to community and regenerative food systems with Grounded, Amped, and Local2Local
Soap Making Workshop: Ever wondered how to turn used oil into soap? Join us for a fun, informative session led by Sara Trunfio, where you'll learn the chemistry behind soap making and how to do it yourself! It's a cool way to recycle and get creative
Grounded Food Truck: Indulge in sustainable eats with our chefs' worldly dishes made from local ingredients. This time, we're turning cauliflower into delicious 'kibbeling' – a snack the whole family will love!
On the day you can also marvel at the gardens, vegetable stand and art market, join the cyanotype and embroidering workshop, decorate a flower pot, listen to a percussion group, or get moving with the African Dance workshop.
Join us for a day of learning, creating, and celebrating the joys of Spring!
This celebration aims to foster community spirit, engage the neighborhood, promote sustainability, and embrace the renewal that Spring brings.
Save the date and join us for a day of festivities, connection, and the vibrant spirit of spring!
