This year we are organising the pear Harvest Summercamp for the third year in a row! Join us for a long weekend of camping, cozyness earnest work and knowledge exchange at Fort Everdingen while helping our long time friend and organic farmer William Pouw.

A local farmer needs our help to harvest the pears on time, soo… Grounded and 7 Billion presidents got together to organise Harvest Summercamp! From 2 - 6 September, you are welcomed to immerse yourself in the beauty of Fort Everdingen and the lush orchards of the organic farmer William Pouw. This is not just a camp; it's a chance to roll up your sleeves, learn, and have fun in a vibrant community.
William is one of the Netherlands' leading organic fruit farmers, celebrated for his delicious Utreg’s Supersap and as a key player at the start of the Grounded initiative.
Are you excited to connect with fellow enthusiasts who share your passion for food, soil health, social justice, and regeneration? This is your opportunity for a rewarding, educational vacation that pays you back!
What You’ll Get:
1-2 days of harvesting,
2 days of workshops:
4 nights of camping: Stay on the beautiful grounds of a historic fortress, and enjoy music session and calm summer evenings.
5 days of delicious food: Enjoy healthy, vegetarian world dishes made with local ingredients.
Engage in sessions on regenerative food systems, personal growth, co-creating a regenerative festival concept, open space discussions, and meet-the-farmer sessions.
Transportation: Provided to and from the camp.
What We Encourage:
Hard Work: We need your dedication on the chosen picking day to ensure the harvest is completed on time.
Entertainment: Bring items like a good book, juggling balls, hula-hoops, or anything else to keep yourself entertained.
Skill Sharing: If you can teach something like yoga, drawing, or any other skill, we’d love for you to host a session!
Positive Vibes: Bring your smile, good vibes, and eagerness to learn and share these days with other positive individuals. Of course we adhere to the Grounded values to ensure a safe and inclusive space.

Tight on money but still want to join? This year we offer 6 volunteer tickets! There's plenty to do regarding food, cleaning, transportation so all help is welcome. Get in contact with one of the organisers or send a mail to info@grounded-community.org.

Everyone that buys a ticket will be invited to a WhatsApp group where we will coordinate logistical details.
